Senior Section Life Membership

1. Qualification

To qualify for nomination for Life Membership the following shall be met:

• Minimum of ten (10) years consecutive Board of Management, Executive Committee or Senior Sub Committee service or minimum of fifteen (15) years combined service to The Club in a playing or service capacity;
• Nominee to have demonstrated, instigated or physically contributed to the preservation and promotion of The Club in some recognisable significance other than just time served and performed their functions above and beyond the usual duties of any position of office or other official duties to The Club; and
• Nominee to have not only serviced The Club as a member but represented themselves and The Club over this period of time in a dignified and respectful manner – an upstanding member of The Club;

2. Nomination

• Any member may nominate a person for Life Membership;
• Nomination shall be signed by an existing Life Member; and
• Nominations must be made in writing, stating eligibility and any other relevant information to support the nomination including evidence of the contribution made.

Nominations for Life Membership shall be considered by the Senior Sub Committee Executive and up to five (5) Senior Section Life Members. The assessment criteria for nominations, shall be the qualifications listed in a) above.
